This album is just a few highlights of how the Mohinani Office in Ghana and Mohinani Nigeria celebrated Valentine’s Day and Employee Appreciation Week, respectively.
Mohinani Nigeria observed a comprehensive “Health and Safety Week" earlier in June to promote workplace safety and employee well-being.
The weeklong program included health checks for employees and special talks on a myriad of topics, including nutrition, stress management, and physical exercise.
The activity is part of the company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment that is aligned with global best practices and regulatory standards.
Mohinani Nigeria joined the world to celebrate World Environment Day on the 6th of June, 2024, with a clean-up exercise across our premises in Lagos and Otta.
The initiative was spearheaded by a safety committee with the voluntary participation of staff and management.
Group Chairman Ashok Mohinani spent some time with select staff nominated by different managers across the Mohinani entities in Ghana in a mentorship session earlier in June.
The initiative by the HR department, dubbed Rendezvous with the Chairman, is always aimed at affording the nominees an opportunity to have open conversations with Mr. Ashok while sharing their thoughts on how Mohinani Group can be better.
It forms part of leadership's commitment to ensuring that staff members have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of the business.
Mr. Mohinani, during this engagement, shared some wisdom nuggets, and below are a few takeaways that we believe are relevant to everyone. We hope it makes a good read for you too.
In March, every year, Corporate Ghana celebrates the rich Ghanaian dressing culture as part of activities to commemorate Ghana’s Independence Day, celebrated every 6th of March.
The Mohinani offices in Ghana fully participated in this traditional fashion galore, with the head Office in Ghana climaxing it with a local dish buffet comprising popular Ghanaian food giving some of the adventurous expatriates an opportunity to have a “taste of Ghana”.
The Mohinani Group joined the world on March 8 to celebrate the social, economic, and political achievements of women across the world under the theme, Inspire Inclusion.
As an organization, Mohinani believes that women bring a lot more to the table than they are often recognized for and that by fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, equality, and tolerance, they have become a significant part of our success story.
Each of the business entities observed International Women’s Day in a unique way, with our offices in India, Nigeria, and Ghana organizing a get-together and photo-taking sessions to facilitate staff bonding on this day.
Once again, we say congratulations to our Mohinani women! Your dedication, passion, innovative spirit, and unwavering determination remain unmatched!
Mohinani Nigeria earlier this year organized an emotional intelligence (EI) training program for selected staff members to enhance their interpersonal skills and self-awareness.
The program focused on equipping participants with the tools and techniques necessary to navigate complex workplace dynamics, manage emotions effectively, and build stronger relationships with colleagues and clients.
Through a combination of workshops, interactive exercises, and role-playing scenarios, employees learned how to recognize and regulate their emotions, communicate more empathetically, and resolve conflicts constructively.
It is expected that this effort will not only promote a more harmonious work environment but also empower participants to lead with empathy and make informed decisions, ultimately contributing to their personal and professional growth.
