Popular Ghanaian comedian and actor Akwasi Boadi, also known as Akorobeto, was earlier this year recruited for Polytanks Ghana’s 2024 major campaign for the tanks division.
The campaign, titled “Polytank Nie Papano Nie,” which translates to “This is Polytank This is the Original,” is aimed at entrenching Polytank’s position as the leading water storage manufacturer in Ghana and to distinguish it from competitor brands that are sometimes mistaken for Polytank.
In a 30-second TVC that is already airing on TV and online, the actor is seen mediating and settling a scuffle between a market woman and a plumber by emphasizing the brand identity of Polytank and subsequently endorsing the brand in his usual amusing character.
Akorobeto’s association with the Polytank brand is expected to help drive easy brand recall for Polytank and to also make the brand relevant to all generations.
